Lead UX Designer reporting to the Executive Manager of Customer Experience & Marketing. Besides managing the routine UX tasks I launched several self-directed initiatives and projects with full autonomy to advance product UX—identifying opportunities, scoping solutions, and driving execution to deliver measurable improvements in a complex digital platform.

• Analyse verbatim feedback from the call centre for UX-related issues
• Backlog prioritisation and actioning tasks with scrum teams
• UX system updates and improvements
• Reporting progress on initiatives, research results and recommendations to the Executive Manager and Leadership Board
• Provide UX and CX related support and advice to various departments.

Founded and led Kinetik, a boutique agency specialising in websites and web design that evolved into sophisticated database applications—naturally advancing into modern UX practices. Consisting of a core team of five full-time staff (two backend programmers, one frontend developer, one content manager and myself) while partnering with graphic designers and SEO specialists for comprehensive delivery.

Delivered web design for SME projects using Photoshop for asset creation, Illustrator for vector graphics, Flash for interactive animations, and Dreamweaver for efficient HTML/CSS hand-coding—crafting functional, visually engaging sites within tight budgets and early web constraints.

After six months of self-directed study in Photoshop and HTML to build an initial portfolio, I secured a position at ID Media—rapidly advancing to deliver website designs for major clients including 2UE Radio and Wayne Gardner.
